As lovely as life is, it can also be really draining !!! Right? We’ve all been there done that, we’ve lived through some really, stressful days or probably existed for the most part of it.
We go through the motions wondering if these is all there is to life…..
Well NO! Cheer up 🙂 there is so much more, sadly most of it is all down to perspective and getting your perspective right may be easier said than done…
Here are 6 wonderful tips to make life more fulfilling.
1.Be yourself but be openminded ; life is transient, changing like the days, new technologies, new rules, new laws, new found freedoms that may seem infringing to our way of life, this could easily become depressing, and may seem like we don’t fit in anymore 🙁 yada yada, yugu, bla bla!! Life is great regardless, open your mind understand that change is beautiful, it creates infinite possibilities, embrace the positive change, and adjust yourself If need be, to accommodate certain negatives. Understand that the world is a big place and variety is beauty.
Be true to yourself but avoid rigidity, learn and unlearn, its OK to want to be different, its OK to evolve.
2.Always make time for good friends and family
Home is where you can always return to, make it lovely, never neglect family or friends these are the people who gat your back… Always be there for them too.
3.Always make time for your hobbies:
The good old fashioned money. Money has a way of tacitly enslaving us humans, we may find ourselves living to make money, so we end up trapped in a vicious circle that ensures we never truly live, almost paradoxical… What do you enjoy doing?fishing? Eating? Swimming? Sleeping? Netflixing and chilling? 🙂 Watching sports? Whatever makes you smile,
Make time for it and treat it as a high priority.
whatever gives you pleasure is worth more than any amount of money.
4. Eat healthy and exercise regularly:
This goes without saying, health is wealth, even the slightest attack on our well being can drastically change our outlook on life, granted no one has total control over their body, but it is important to do your best to keep healthy and food plays a vital role. Less junk and less alcohol, more home cooked meals, it may be Ok to indulge every once in a while, but avoid making this things a lifestyle. Besides the exercise freaks almost every human finds exercising stressful and tiring, a mention of the word exercise and a picture of sweaty people in a gym pops up, but its not necessarily so. Swap those car rides for bicycle rides, take the stairs, walk to the park and back, do more chores, consciously walk faster and although that may not be enough little is better than nothing.
5. Make a conscious effort to be helpful to others in need:Nothing feels more satisfying that helping another human or even an animal in need, it gives you a great sense fulfilment, helping others out makes you into a better version of yourself.
Plan to donate to charities, feed the homeless, help out stranded individuals… Don’t live it to chance, make it into a conscious effort.
6.learn to live in the present
The Dalai Lama , when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered ” Man …. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health . And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future ; he lives as if he is never going to die , and then dies having never really.
Enjoy every moment, make good memories, in the end all we truly have are our memories.
